Bert Flanagan, Proprietress, invites you to visit Costumed Occasions in beautiful, historic downtown San Marcos, Texas. Visit the store while on vacation, shopping the world famous San Marcos outlet mall or as a current or prospective student at Texas State University at San Marcos (formerly Southwest Texas State University).

Bert is an award-winning costume designer, having won several prestigous NCA awards for costume design and the use of make-up.

Costumed Occasions consists of over 15,000 square feet, on two floors. Thousands of costumes and costume accessories are displayed for your event or party. Come and browse to see the many items on display. Let our friendly staff help you select a costume for your next party.

Bert Flanagan has again won a prestigious award for her designing capabilites. In July, 2004, at the national convention of world wide costumers held in Denver, Colorado her costumes, Froggy and Miss Mousey, won the Fantasy category and was runner-up in the Grand International competition. Come by the store and see these wonderful creations.
