Terms and Conditions Ordering, Shipping and Return policies Generally, your order will be shipped within three business days from initial receipt. Shipment may occur sooner depending on our work load. For orders placed in October please allow five business days for processing. If for some reason your order cannot be shipped as placed, you will be notified via email of all exceptions and you can change, modify, or cancel your order without additional charge. Once your order has been acknowledged, but has not been shipped, the order is subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee. Contact customer service to see if your order has been shipped. See our Returned and Exchange Policy below if you wish to exchange or return an order. Costumed Occasions does not accept cash, purchase orders, checks, money orders or COD orders over the internet. Use your VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards to make a purchase over our secure online credit card processing center. NOTE: You must be 18 years old to place an online order. The name and address on the order must be the same as the name and billing address for the credit card. Our standard shipping and handling is UPS ground service within the continental United States and USPS to Alaska and Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US possessions. Costumed Occasions may choose to use USPS for some domestic shipments at our discretion. For shipments overseas please email us at customerservice@costumedoccasions.com . Our standard shipping and handling charges are below. If expedited shipment is required please contact customer service for exact charges. Normally, expect delivery of your order in three to eight days after shipment except during December due to the holidays. We cannot deliver to post office boxes. Shipping Charges
Costumed Occasions makes every effort to insure that your package is delivered to the carrier within three business days. Costumed Occasions cannot be held responsible once your order has been delivered to the appropriate carrier. It is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver your package to you and is subject to their rules, work load and schedule requirements. See our Returned and Exchange Policy below if shipment is received damaged. Texas residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax. Returned and Exchange Policy Costumed Occasions warrants its products to perform and/or appear as advertised. All products sold can only be used for which they were designed and Costumed Occasions does not represent the products any differently. Sometimes in the manufacturing process, errors in workmanship, materials, or packaging may occur. Costumed Occasions wants you to be 100% satisfied with the product and, therefore, offer a return and/or exchange policy. If for any reason, within the first 30 days after the order was shipped, Costumed Occasions will accept your return, for credit or exchange, that is determined to be defective, subject to the following:
Shipping Damages It is the responsibility of the customer to note, upon delivery, any visible damage to the package and to so note the damage on the carrier’s paperwork. You are not required to accept delivery of a damaged package. Simply refuse acceptance and notify Costumed Occasions. USPS shipments that are damaged must be accepted. On UPS ground shipments even though the package has minor damage you may be able to determine that the product is still in useable condition. If you decide that the contents are still in a new and undamaged condition you may accept the package. If you do so, you are waiving your right to return the product to the factory for credit. USPS packaging may be damaged on the outside, but close inspection may reveal that the product is not damaged and, therefore, usable as intended. In the event you reject the package or received a severely damaged package, do the following: You will need your order number. Immediately call customer service at 512-754-7000 and report the problem and customer service will do the following:
Concealed damage is broken, mangled, torn, or other damage that occurs in shipping, but is not visible until the package is opened. Immediately contact customer service at 512-754-7000 for instructions on returning concealed-damage items and receiving a replacement order.
